This Horned Owl Mask is carved and painted by Greg Henderson from the Kwakwaka´wakw Nation (formerly known as Kwakiutl Nation). It has been carved from red cedar and painted in yellow, brown, and black acrylic, with an additive that makes the paint sparkle.
The Owl Symbol represents a bird of wisdom and intuition, magic and prophecy. Owls are often seen as messengers.

The mask measures approximately 12 1/2 inches or 32 centimeters high, 9 1/4 inches or 23 1/2 centimeters wide and 5 inches or 13 centimeters deep.
